Clearco provides ecommerce businesses with working capital to fund invoices and receipts. Increase your ecommerce business revenue with predictable, controllable, and scalable funding. | | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Rewards Points Email: -
Purpose/Context of Email:
Now that ecommerce businesses are finding it more difficult and more expensive to acquire customers, marketers are having to lean into cool ways to drive LTV forward as much as possible. Rewards points are a great way to incentivize multiple purchases and Example 1 is from Beam, another one of my favorites. Super simple and less branded/designed than their usual emails, but solid language as always. The one thing you need to remember with a lot of these emails is that there is some work required for most people to get onboarded to a referral program. They need an incentive to actually get on in the first place, and that's what the initial points are for — just for signing up. Tell them exactly what they need to do so they feel like it won't be that much work, and then get them hooked on earning points. Example 2 is from Aura Bora. Firstly, I love the design of this email. It looks amazing and it looks seamless. I love that they have tiers as well, because people are inherently competitive. It's the same reason every person over the age of 30 is addicted to candy crush. It's the never-ending chase of having MORE. The same can be true for your brand if you say the right things to your customers. Segment:

I run multiple businesses and employ hundreds of people worldwide—marketers in the United States, project managers in Europe, designers in the Philippines, and so on. It truly is a global team. However, running payroll for an international team is no joke. Different types of contracts, currencies, payment cycles, FX rates, and so on. This slowly became a huge hassle for us. I would spend hours sending contracts, making manual payments, and tracking each payment. I used to hate payday. Then I came across Thera––a YC company that's making international payroll a breeze for agencies and SMBs. They are a global payroll and contractor management platform that helps you pay talent in 150+ countries.
Thera makes it incredibly easy to manage payroll operations for a large global team. If you're a busy founder like me with a global team, reach out to them.
