Those seeking abortion care can receive a virtual consultation from a health provider, who will prescribe the medication and have it mailed directly to the patient.
While most companies don't service states where mail-order abortion is outlawed, some international organizations will send the medication to people in the U.S. from overseas pharmacies regardless of state regulations. | | Know More | | Mifepristone and misoprostol—the two drugs that are often jointly referred to as "the abortion pill"—are about as safe and effective as surgical abortion.
