From Beverly Jenkins, your Guide to Web Humor
Hello Web Humor friends!

Last week, I reported on two bizarre disturbances in the web humor force: The fact that Big Bird suddenly found himself at the center of a maelstrom of politics and satire, and the fact that awesome actor Christopher Walken sat down and read lines from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. While these two topics might not seem to have anything in common, I actually managed to draw a connection there. Check out my blog to see how I pulled that off.

I also put together a site profile of one of my favorite daily web reads, The Superficial. Find out why I pop over there several times per day (yes, per day!) to keep up on my celebrity gossip and get a daily dose of snark, while I'm at it.

Have a great week!
Beverly

A Joke A Day - Jokes ByEmail

The Joke of The Day
Family Jokes :: #2704
By Anonymous from USA.

A couple, desperate to conceive a child, went to their priest and asked him to pray for them. "I'm going on a sabbatical to Rome," he replied, "and while I'm there, I'll light a candle for you."

When the priest returned three years later, he went to the couple's house and found the wife pregnant, busily attending to two sets of twins. Elated, the priest asked her where her husband was so that he could congratulate him.

"He's gone to Rome, to blow that candle out" came the harried reply.
