Here are some helpful tips to make your car washing experience a breeze.

1. Timing is Key: Avoid Washing in Direct Sunlight

We've all been there, trying to wash our vehicles while the sun beats down on us. But did you know that washing your vehicle in direct sunlight can cause the soap to dry too quickly, leaving unsightly streaks and spots?

To avoid this, choose a shaded area or wash your vehicle during the cooler parts of the day, like early morning or late afternoon. We also recommend re-rinsing all surfaces to cool them down before applying soap.

If you can't avoid the sun, wash in small sections.

2. Rinse with Filtered Water to Prevent Hard Water Spots

One frustrating thing about washing your car is dealing with those stubborn hard water spots that appear after the water evaporates. T

To combat this, consider rinsing your vehicle with filtered water, deionized water, or RO water.

Your local water company, like Culligan or something similar, should have these systems available.

3. Don't Forget to Dry

After giving your vehicle a thorough wash, dry it properly before the sun causes the water to evaporate, leaving behind unsightly water spots.

Grab a soft microfiber drying towel and gently dry your vehicle, paying special attention to areas where water tends to accumulate, like side mirrors and door handles.
