Ooey Gooey Butter Cake This is our take on gooey butter cake, an extra rich cake with origins in 1930s St. Louis. The story goes that the cake was first made by accident when a St. Louis baker unintentionally reversed the proportions of butter and flour. An accident we are eternally grateful for.
