Here are a few travel and outdoor products that we're particularly excited about.
| TRAVEL DEALS | | Amazon Prime Early Access Sale | | The Amazon Prime Early Access Sale Is on Its Way—Here's What We're Most Excited About | If you haven't heard, Amazon has a new sale for Prime members. Essentially an October version of the annual Prime Day sale, the Early Access Sale will run from Oct. 11 to Oct. 12 and will feature thousands of products on sale. We at TripSavvy have been scouring early deals and have seen a few travel and outdoor products that we're particularly excited about. | | - Osprey's Fairview 40L Women's Travel Pack: In a recent carry-on backpack test, one of our testers named Osprey's Fairview 40L Women's Travel Pack a personal favorite. They loved the pack's size, space, and compartments. Osprey employs its proprietary Lightwire Frame Suspension, which helps spread the weight across the back panel and from the harness to the hip belt, creating an extra comfy carry that our testers appreciated. Besides the fit, we also appreciate it when all straps are stowable, making it easy just in case you need to check the bag on a plane (which is possible on smaller planes with this larger-capacity pack). The small/medium size in Misty Grey is currently on sale.
- Altra's Lone Peak 6 Shoes: These have become my favorite pair of travel shoes. The zero-drop classics are incredibly comfortable. Technically trail running shoes, these kicks are excellent for walking around the airport, long flights and road trips, and for hiking and running. When space is limited, there's no question I'm bringing these shoes on my travels. (OK, even when space isn't limited, I'm bringing them.)
- Vancropak's Travel Backpack: The best budget pick from the previously mentioned carry-on backpack test is also on sale, making it even more of an excellent deal. Vancropak's Travel Backpack impressed our testers with its durability, capacity, and comfort. "It fit everything for a weekend trip even though I packed quickly and not thoughtfully or strategically," our tester said. "It's perfect for a weekend trip when you want to pack extra 'just in case' outfits or items. It even expands to provide more room. It has extra pockets, opens like a suitcase, has many different handles, and the backpack straps can be tucked and zipped away." Compression straps also help shrink the pack back down after being packed.
