Every year in early fall, millions of monarch butterflies from Canada and the U.S. flock to Mexico to escape the cold. You can visit these travelers at the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve in Michoacán, Mexico, where they flutter around the forested area. The best time to see them is between November and March, with January and February being the peak months for the insects.
