| | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Fall Collections Email: - Email Examples:
- The Fall Collections Email Example 1
- The Fall Collections Email Example 2
- Purpose/Context of Email:
Everyone loves dressing for fall. Fall fits are always better than summer fits, and no one really knows why. Time to get people excited with a new collection that they can rock for the new season! Example 1 is from Janessa Leone. The one thing that I thought was interesting here was that they have this email designed for mobile, but on desktop, they have a black background that fills the screen. I like that you can optimize your designs for mobile-first, but still take up as much space for your brand as possible on desktop. Something interesting that you can test. I love the aesthetic of this. The copy is super premium-sounding, and it creates a great vibe for you. Awesome email.
Example 2 is from Stand Studio. This is a super simple email, but for a brand like this, it works. You'll notice that the theme for this edition is premium brands acting premium. The privilege to be able to use one line of copy and still make tons of sales is powerful. If you have a product that is simple enough to be understood without a ton of descriptive copy, write like this. It feels expensive. - Segment(s):
