| | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Self-Gifting Email: - Email Examples:
- The Self-Gifting Email Example 1
- The Self-Gifting Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
During fall, people tend to spend more time indoors. If you can nail down the "self-care, self-gifting" angle, you'll crush. Everyone wants to retire to their study and just chill for a few hours. Give them the opportunity to buy something that helps out with that.
Example 1 is from State. This email is directed at parents who work their butt off all day to be a parent. When parents are overworked, it's very appealing for them to get themselves a gift that they've worked so hard for. This is a great email. Self-care/self-gifting for parents is strong right now.
Example 2 is from Brooklinen. When it comes to self-care, there's no better way to spoil yourself than a good night's sleep. Anything related to rest and relaxation right now is doing very well. Especially when BL talks about it, it sounds sublime. The imagery here just makes you feel like you need a nap. This email is very visual. Stuff like this is stuff that sells.
