Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Self Gifting Email: -
Purpose/Context of Email: Self-gifting is one of the best campaign types you can do as of late. People absolutely love spoiling themselves with impulse buys. I'm one of those people. If you can capture someone with an email like this at the right time, you're gonna be very successful with it. Check this out. Example 1 is from Mejuri. This email is for Valentine's Day and briefly discusses gifting yourself something shiny, but it doesn't have to be for a holiday. You can convince someone to buy themselves something just by putting an offer in front of them and suggesting that they deserve it. Trust me. Example 2 is from MatchaBar, a brand you can always rely on for top-tier emails. With this one, they did exactly what I just mentioned in the last example. "You worked hard this week, you need this" is one of the best lines you can deliver to an audience. They LOVE being told that they should reward themselves. They love being rewarded (obviously), but they always feel guilty for doing it themselves. If YOU give them permission, they'll do it. Segment:

- Start with a Bang:
Use intriguing subject lines that promise value. Test questions, teasers, or benefit-driven phrases. Additionally, make sure to take advantage of the preview text.

Weave narratives that connect your product to their needs. And share customer testimonials on how your product solves your customer's problems.
- Visually Appealing:
Break text with images or graphics for easy reading. Use relevant images or infographics to break up your text.
- Clear CTA:
Guide readers on what to do next with a compelling call-to-action. And the placement of your CTA is important, too; position your call-to-action above the fold and toward the end of your copy.
