| | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Early Access Email: | | Purpose/Context of Email:
People love to be treated like a VIP. Being able to offer someone early access to a deal or a product launch is why people love shopping with small brands. It's best to pre-qualify people for this, either by asking for an opt-in, or by tightening up your segments. Regardless, this is a great way to build hype for something that you're excited about as a brand owner. Example 1 is from my homies at BYLT. I wear their hats every day. Now, this email is actually masterful. Months ago I dropped a thread on how to increase CTR, and this is literally a picture-perfect version of how it should look. They offer early access, but they don't tell you for "what". They hint at it, but it's on YOU to click through and figure it out. I'm honestly excited just looking at it. Use this technique whenever you can. I'm positive that this email did crazy numbers. Example 2 is from The Arrivals. This email is cool because there's almost nothing to it. It's just text, and it's very obvious to you WHY you're getting that email. Again, they leave information out on purpose which increases curiosity. I'll touch on the thread for a second because it's important to know why I'm getting hyped over these seemingly innocuous emails. When you're trying to induce curiosity, you need to leave out information that people actually wanna know. If I stopped that sentence in the middle, you'd be looking around like an addict for the next sentence. You NEED to know. And when an email teases you like that, ravings fans will click through to see what they're missing. Definitely use this in future sends. Segment:
- Your VIP Subscriber Segment Subject Line Ideas:
- (firstname), you have early access
- Shh, you have early access to this
- You're the first to know about this. Preview Text Ideas:
- Treating you like the VIP you are.
- Don't tell anyone.
- Come & get in early.

1️⃣ Use a mix of social proof formats, don't just rely on testimonials.
2️⃣ Switch to implementing a call to value (CTV) instead of a call to action. 3️⃣ Place click triggers around CTVs.
4️⃣ Reframe your price in a more relatable way.
5️⃣ Put a price tag on every element of your offer. | | Email Marketing Tip of the Week: | Get to the point. People are busy and have short attention spans, so every word in your email should serve a purpose. Here's how to create concise, profitable emails: -
Start with a strong hook – Your subject line and preview text should instantly show value. Grab attention with urgency, curiosity, or relevance.
-
Limit your focus – Stick to one main message or CTA. Too many ideas can dilute the impact and confuse readers.
-
Trim the fat – Remove unnecessary words, jargon, and fluff. Edit ruthlessly to keep only what drives action.
-
Use visuals strategically – A well-placed image or icon can sometimes convey an idea faster than words, making your message even more digestible.
-
Make the CTA unmissable – Make sure your CTA stands out visually and use clear, action-oriented language. Remember, every line should guide readers toward your goal. The shorter the email, the higher the chance they'll read and click. Concise emails = profitable emails. | | I hope you enjoyed this edition. Hit reply and let me know! - Chase P.S.
