Prosecutors accused the populist-right former general of having had "full knowledge" of a plot to kill incumbent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva after he defeated Bolsonaro in the previous presidential election. Bolsonaro has denied any attempt at plotting a coup. | 🇮🇱 The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu. The International Criminal Court, which the United States does not recognize, also issued warrants for former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas' military chief, who Israel says it has already killed. The charges include war crimes and crimes against humanity. | 🇬🇧 Elon Musk got into a spat with British parliamentarians. Members of the governing left-wing Labour Party demanded that Musk appear before a parliamentary hearing on disinformation, which they claim is rampant on his X platform. In response, Musk said the US government would demand they appear before Congress to "explain their censorship and threats to American citizens." | 🇷🇺 Russia fired an experimental missile at Ukraine. The missile — an intermediate-range ballistic missile — had never been used in combat and is capable of carrying four nuclear warheads, each 20 times the explosive force of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
