Whether you crushed it or felt the pressure of this BFCM, don't let those lessons go to waste. With Particl, you can learn, adapt, and win even bigger next time. | | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Limited Supply Email: | | Purpose/Context of Email:
Not gonna lie here. I almost never buy stuff online, but an email like this got me. The idea of owning something from a brand you like that only a few people will be able to own is very enticing. It also makes you frantically take your credit card out and buy. Or at least, that's what I did yesterday morning. Got a product drop coming up? Limit the first round to a certain number of units and watch people flip out. I promise. Example 1 is from Cernucci. Not only is this design an absolute vibe, they nailed the communication here. 100 chains were produced, and they're super cool. Who wouldn't wanna be one of 100 to own something that looks like this? This is the ultimate scarcity/urgency combo. Sales 101. It's even better if it's legit. The FOMO for the next time around will be so high that you'll sell out even faster.
Example 2 is from Anine Bing. This email is not as hard of a sell as Cernucci. It's still genuine, and it's something you can technically add to any email you send. I would add "selling fast, limited quantity, get it now" to any abandonment email in order to get people to click through and convert. It's a good tactic if it's honest, but obviously don't lie. For the less well-versed in internet marketing, it looks legit and it will earn you more conversions if they're paying attention. Segment:
- Your VIP Subscriber Segment Subject Line Ideas:
- We only made 100 of these...
- You could be 1 of 100 to own this...
- The rarest product we've ever dropped Preview Text Ideas:
- Get in this super small circle.
- Want in?
- Act fast & get yours.
| | Partner of the Week: BFCM is Done. Now What? Black Friday and Cyber Monday might be behind us, but the real work is just beginning. Now's the perfect time to pause and ask: - Where do you stack up against your competitors?
- What were your biggest wins?
- Where did you leave money on the table?
Doing a post-mortem while it's fresh ensures you're not just celebrating or moving on too quickly. Instead, you're using your Black Friday insights to fine-tune your approach for Christmas, end-of-year sales, and beyond. This is where Particl shines. Their new asset library makes it simple to pull in your email campaigns, social posts, homepage updates, and more—all while showing you how your efforts compare to your competition. It's like having your own massive swipe file alongside real-time and historical competitor intelligence and actionable insights all in one place. Whether you crushed it or felt the pressure of this BFCM, don't let those lessons go to waste. With Particl, you can learn, adapt, and win even bigger next time.
The best in the business are leveraging Particl for a reason. P.S. Check out this screenshot of SKIMS below. You can learn a lot by studying what they implemented. For example: On December 2nd, they sent an email at 5:06am. They posted on TikTok at 8:51am. They posted on Instagram at 9am. And they sent a second email at 12:26pm. You can see exactly what they did all the days prior, too. They literally track all this data and more for every email campaign, every social post, etc. This is great because you can see what's happening in a) real-time or b) reference what happened in the past, which can help you make the right decisions for your own business.
