Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Back in Stock Email: | | Purpose/Context of Email:
Back in stock campaigns crush CONSISTENTLY if you do them the right way. One of the best ways to do this is to embed a form on PDPs that are out of stock, and then collect emails of people who are interested in hearing about when the product is coming back. If the product is in high demand, you'll blow it out of the water.
Example 1 is from Aureum, a women's jewelry brand. It doesn't look like they had people opt-in for this email, but instead just blasted out all of the products that they've been out of for a while. If a product sells out, it's likely already in high demand. People buy what other people are already buying to "fit in", so use that to your advantage. "These products are so popular that they sold out in 2 days. Get this now so that you don't have to wait again." Example 2 is from Ekster, a wallet brand that's been crushing it lately. One thing they did really well here is that they really leaned into the social proof angle with these products. Not just reviews, but ratings from Trustpilot and Google. Not many brands have those, but they really resonate with an older audience. Try this out. Segment:
- Audience that opted in for back in stock notifications
& Your Engaged Segment Subject Line Ideas:
- (product) is FINALLY back!
- Your fav product is back in stock.
- It's back. Preview Text Ideas:
- You asked, we delivered.
- Come get it while it's here!
- Long overdue.

7 Cognitive Biases You Can Use to Create High-Converting Copy: | | Marketing Tip of the Week: | People don't want to be sold to: They want to feel understood. How to Apply This for Your Brand: -
Start with Empathy: Show your customers that you truly understand their challenges, frustrations, or desires. - Example: "We know how frustrating it is when your phone case cracks after just a few weeks."
-
Mirror Their Emotions: Use language that reflects how they feel and what they're looking for. Focus on connecting, not pitching. - Example: Instead of: "Our mattress has advanced cooling technology."
- Use: "Tired of waking up sweaty? Sleep cool and wake refreshed with our breathable mattress."
-
Speak to Their Journey: Address where they are now and where they want to be, positioning your product as the bridge. - Example: "Say goodbye to cluttered countertops and hello to a perfectly organized kitchen."
-
Use Customer Stories: Share testimonials or success stories that align with your audience's experiences to make them feel seen. - Example: "I've tried every moisturizer on the market, but this is the first one that truly worked for my dry skin."
Remember: When your customers feel understood, they trust you. And trust leads to sales. Focus on their needs first and your product will sell itself. | | Email Marketing Resource of the Week: | 3 Secrets For Higher Open Rates

5 Email Formats That Could Make You More Money | | The Most Productive Email App Ever Made: | I used to spend hours upon hours every week sorting through my inbox, trying to stay on top of countless emails.
