Google Maps is a hidden goldmine for qualified leads.
Scrap.io helps you extract key data like emails, phone numbers, and social profiles from Google Maps, making it easy to find and target local businesses and SMBs. | | | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Blog Plug Email: | | Purpose/Context of Email:
Brand blogs are great for so many reasons. The first is education, the second is entertainment, and so on. If you can nail all of these in one, send it out to your list. It's free content. It is NOT a cop-out, it's an effective use of time. Example 1 is from BALLS. Their content is already pretty funny, so it just gets better in long-form. They do need to do a bit of education on their product, because there are some important safety aspects they need to tell their audience about. Also, I can't imagine trying to compete for ranking on the word "balls". That's a tough one, but I know they'll get it one day. Also + 10 points for the cartoons they use as their hero images in the blog posts. That's crazy.
Example 2 is from Hydrant. Firstly, I have to say, this design is SO good. Whoever did this needs a raise. They also nailed the blog descriptions, and made them relevant to different types of people who may occupy their list. Plus, they include a discount at the very end just to be nice. Wow. I love Hydrant.

6 Copywriting Facts: | | Copywriting Resource #2 of the Week:
6 copywriting frameworks for all of your marketing efforts: | | Copywriting Tip of the Week: | Every sentence in your copy should answer: "What's in it for them?" How to Apply This for Your Company: -
Make Every Word Customer-Focused: Instead of talking about your product, talk about what it does for your customer. Shift from "we" and "our" to "you" and "your." - Example: Instead of: "We use premium organic cotton."
- Use: "You'll love the soft, breathable feel of 100% organic cotton."
-
Highlight Benefits, Not Just Features: Customers don't buy features—they buy solutions and experiences. Translate features into real-life advantages. - Example: Instead of: "Our blender has a 1000W motor."
- Use: "Blend smoothies in seconds—no chunks, no hassle."
-
Make It Immediate: Show how your product improves their life right now. The faster they see the value, the more likely they are to buy. - Example: "Unbox, plug in, and enjoy barista-quality coffee in minutes."
-
Keep It Concise and Direct: If a sentence doesn't serve the customer's interest, cut it. Every line should move them closer to a purchase. Remember: Customers don't care about your product—they care about how it makes their life better. Make sure your copy answers that in every sentence. | | The 2025 Customer Service Transformation Report: | It's no secret that AI has completely changed the trajectory of our industry, and this year's report reflects that transformation. Here are a few key takeaways from the report: - AI is reshaping everything – 76% of support teams have already invested in AI for customer service in 2024. And the expectation is that this number will grow to 79% of support teams investing in AI for 2025. AI is no longer just a trend; it's a full-blown transformation.
- The economics of customer service have been rewritten – Scaling support used to mean adding headcount, but AI now offers a more efficient, cost-effective, and faster way to manage support volume, delivering a trifecta of better, faster, and cheaper service.
- Customer expectations are at an all-time high – 89% of support teams report a shift in customer attitudes towards AI, with the majority viewing it positively. Customers now expect quicker, more efficient support.
- AI is transforming roles within teams – 60% of support teams say their roles are evolving due to AI, with agents focusing more on complex, strategic tasks. New roles, such as AI customer support specialists and knowledge managers, are emerging as a result.
While I hope this summary was helpful, I just can't do the entire thing justice in a short blurb.
The full report dives deeper into how AI is transforming customer service at every level. It's clear that AI-first customer service is not just a trend—it's the future.
