Happy Thursday!
Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week.
This edition is full of tips and resources.
So without further ado, let's dive in: | Email Campaign Idea - The Refer And Earn Email: | Email Examples:
- The Refer And Earn Email Example 1
- The Refer And Earn Email Example 2 Purpose/Context of Email:
Anyone else getting 0.0003X ROAS on Facebook lately? It's hard times right now. Instead of spending all of that money to maybe acquire a customer on Facebook, make your audience do it for you. The bigger the incentive, the bigger the result. With an app like Referral Candy, you can give people the opportunity to "refer and earn" for your brand. Example 1 is from GLD, a great jewelry brand from the US. They're willing to spend $50 per referral that their customers bring. That's...actually an insane number. I'm willing to leave my agency and pursue a full-time lead generation career with GLD. I'd be able to retire in like two weeks. Not sure if this offer is still going, but you might be able to get rich still by referring leads to them.
Example 2 is from a brand called Seen. I would probably give this email a 7/10. Design is great, but it doesn't really explain how you earn $10 with referrals. This is an important lesson though: always remind yourself that your customers don't know as much about your product, offer, or values as you think they do. Just because it's simple and it makes sense to you does not mean it'll make sense to them. Ask a friend (a non-e-com friend) for feedback to ensure that nobody will get confused. I've been in e-com for like 10 years and I still don't really know how to participate in this.

Marketing 101 + 5 Tips to Become a Better Marketer: | Marketing Tip of the Week: The easiest way to increase conversions?
Reduce friction at every step.
How to Apply This for Your Brand:
- Simplify Checkout: Every extra click, form field, or delay increases drop-offs. Remove unnecessary steps and enable features like guest checkout or one-click payments.
Example: Instead of requiring account creation, offer "Checkout as Guest" for faster purchases.
- Speed Up Your Site: Slow load times kill conversions. Optimize images, streamline code, and test mobile performance to keep customers engaged.
Example: "A one-second delay can reduce conversions by 7%—speed matters."
- Make Calls-to-Action (CTAs) Clear & Direct: Guide shoppers exactly where to go next. Confusing navigation leads to lost sales.
Example: Instead of: "Proceed," use: "Complete Your Order in Seconds."
- Offer Multiple Payment Options: The easier it is to pay, the more likely they'll buy. Accept credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options.
Example: "Split your payment into 4 easy installments—no interest, no stress."
Remember: The less effort it takes to buy, the more likely people will complete their purchase. Make the process seamless, and watch your conversions grow. | Incredible FREE Resource for Marketers: Campaign briefs don't have to be complicated.
