Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week.
This edition is full of tips and resources.
So without further ado, let's dive in: | Email Campaign Idea - The Pop Quiz Email: | Email Examples:
- The Pop Quiz Email Example 1
- The Pop Quiz Email Example 2
Purpose/Context of Email:
So I stumbled upon these campaigns, and I thought these were so smart. Firstly, getting people to respond to your emails is always a good thing. It's good for your deliverability. Secondly, it's fun and it's good for brand-building/engagement. Most people aren't doing this. Example 1 is from Papaya Reusables, who actually makes reusable paper towels. I think those are just called towels, I'm not sure. Whatever they're selling, this email concept is great. They encourage people to respond, and they get to know more about their audience. This is a fun way to go about this. Example 2 is from Flo Vitamins. You can't tell, because I just grabbed a screenshot of this email, but there's rotating text above that underline. It flips between the benefits of the product and does a good job of educating you on the product. This is not really a pop quiz (even though it said "pop quiz" in the subject line). It's just an opportunity to tell you more about what their product does and how they help you. Brand education can be boring...but if you're Flo? It's enjoyable for everyone. Segment:

Here are 6 key elements you need to create persuasive ad copy: | Marketing Tip of the Week:
The brands that win in the long term are the ones that educate their audience.
How to Apply This for Your Brand:
Teach Before You Sell: Provide valuable content that helps customers make informed decisions. When they see you as a trusted resource, they'll buy when the time is right.
- Example: A skincare brand sharing "The 3 Biggest Moisturizer Mistakes (and How to Fix Them)."
Answer Customer Questions: Think like your audience—what do they need to know before buying? Create content around their biggest concerns.
- Example: A coffee brand explaining "How to Choose the Right Roast for Your Taste."
Give Before You Ask: Offer free value—tips, guides, or insights—without immediately pushing for a sale. This builds trust and keeps your brand top of mind.
- Example: A fitness brand offering "5 At-Home Workouts to Boost Your Energy" instead of just promoting their protein powder.
Position Yourself as the Go-To Expert: The more you educate, the more authority you build. When customers are ready to buy, they'll naturally turn to you.
Remember: Sales come and go, but trust lasts. The brands that teach, win—because informed customers become loyal customers. | It's Time to Improve Your Customer Service:
Most brands are still doing customer support like it's 2015.
They treat it as a reactive cost center—slow response times, generic answers, and support that feels anything but personal.
In 2025, the brands doing it right are leveraging AI to turn support into a competitive advantage.
The smartest companies aren't just using AI for ads and email automation—they're using it to resolve customer issues instantly, personalize support at scale, and turn frustrated buyers into loyal customers.
Intercom's Built For You announcement on March 19th is showcasing their biggest product update of the year.
Here's why I'm personally attending: ✅ AI-powered workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks ✅ Real-time support that feels personal at scale ✅ Seamless integration across any help desk, not just Intercom
Great marketing brings people in. Great support keeps them around. The best brands don't just sell—they support.
I'll be watching to see what's next. You should, too, if you care about AI, retention, and customer experience.
