Howdy :), it's me, Joe Cosity here!
A man was driving along a rural road, one day, when he saw a
three-legged chicken. He was amused enough to drive along
side it for a while.
As he was driving, he noticed the chicken was running 30 mph.
"Pretty fast chicken," he thought, "I wonder just how fast it
can run." So, he sped up and the chicken did, too!
They were, now, moving along the road at 45 mph! The man in
the car sped up, again. To his surprise, the chicken was
still running ahead of him at 60 mph!
Suddenly, the chicken turned off the road and ran down a
long driveway, leading to a farmhouse. The man followed the
chicken to the house and saw a man in the yard, and dozens of
three-legged chickens.
The man in the car called out to the farmer, "How did you
get all these three-legged chickens?"
The farmer replied, "I breed 'em. Ya' see, it's me, my wife,
and my son living here, and we all like to eat the chicken
leg. Since a chicken only has two legs, I started breeding
this three-legged variety so we could all eat our favorite
piece."
"That's amazing!" said the driver. "How do they taste?"
"Don't rightly know," said the farmer, "we can't catch 'em."

How fast do you flee that which could hinder you?
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of
another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: not
rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but
contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called,
that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love
life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from
evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and
ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of
the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that
will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye:
and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; but
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always
to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of
the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: having a
good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of
evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good
conversation in Christ.
For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer
for well doing, than for evil doing. -1 Peter 3:8
