| | | | | | 3 Products That Upgraded My Recent Camping Experience | Over the years, I've slowly accumulated more and more camping gear. At first, my husband and I would travel with the most basic essentials, in part to make sure we enjoyed camping before investing in nicer, more expensive things. Spoiler alert: We love it. So since our initial camping days, we've acquired and upgraded more items to make our camping getaways even better. And recently, I had the opportunity to partner with Nissan; they loaned me a Nissan Armada for a weekend camping adventure, which worked perfectly for a four-person trip—it had plenty of room for all of our things to be packed and organized efficiently, plus the four of us to not only make the drive but also comfortably wait out a torrential, middle-of-the-night thunderstorm! Nissan also provided us a stipend to put toward gear we would need for the adventure. As someone who loves sifting through lots of product specs and reviews online, I put in hours of research to choose the best items. Here are a few things I loved. - Big Agnes Dream Island 15 Degree Sleeping Bag: For any camping couples like us, this sleeping bag was the perfect size for the two of us and our NEMO Aurora tent, and I especially loved that it has a pad sleeve, in which you can insert two single sleeping pads or one double that are kept in place all night long even as you toss and turn.
- Stanley Adventure Base Camp Cookset 4: This complete cookware set had everything we needed, and I love how portable and compact it is when it's all packed together within the largest pot and secured with a bungee cord.
- MPOWERD Luci String Lights: You'll need lanterns and flashlights when camping for safety, but this was a nice lighting addition that also added some ambiance to our campsite. It has an 18-foot cord, four light brightness settings, and it can be charged via USB or solar powered.
These are my most recent favorite products I've acquired recently, but I'd also love to hear what you can't camp without.
