Let's jump in. Campaign Idea 1 - The Back To School Email: - Email Examples:
- The Back To School Email Example 1 - The Back To School Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
Well, it's that time again. When I was a kid, I used to never understand why they'd run ads on TV for back to school in August. I thought it was too soon. But now, as a marketer, I get it. We need to give people time to make decisions and ship their stuff. These campaigns will do the trick. Send 'em soon! Example 1 is from Homesick. So, I love this email. I love the fact that they have collections for different schools and I love the design of it. I think that they could've been legendary status if they had specific collections for each school in the area, had separate emails for each school, and then segmented based on location and sent the UCLA or USC products to California, etc. That would've been insane, but also very difficult. This is great regardless. Example 2 is from Princess Polly. Didn't I call this last week? Princess Polly has a campaign for EVERYTHING. This one is super simple. They don't even need copy because of how visual their product line is. What is there to explain? They're very stoic about their marketing. They know that all they need to do is send one email for one event and they're going to make 6 figures. Love it. -

- The Summer Ending Email Example 1 - The Summer Ending Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
Sadly, summer is on its way out. Take advantage of the mixed emotions as we head out of the most free time of the year and into September. Emails like this will help with that. Example 1 is from Verishop. This one may be a little too autumn-y for August, but I think this is the right vibe. Doing a sale at the end of summer is great, and will capture a ton of people who want to spend a ton of money before the weather gets cold. You'd think that's ridiculous, but psychology is weird. Use "change" to get people to buy stuff and retain the feeling of a certain vibe. Example 2 is from R+Co. I know this one says "labor day" in it, but I wanted to include this because of the language after that. We'll cover labor day next week. I like this one because it's simple, and they offer a sale. I didn't originally think you had to, but all of these dope brands are doing sales. That probably means that you should too! - Segment(s):
