Remove Your Discount Dependency: A client of mine was so sick and tired of running discount after discount but ended up getting into this vicious cycle where customers came to expect discounts. They felt trapped and were confused about the path forward. A team member of mine had heard about a newer company called Fondue, which enables CashBack offers as an alternative solution to the archaic coupon code. After successfully implementing it for this client, we rolled it out for a few others, and we've found that CashBack offers for the popups on our client's websites lead to substantially higher email/SMS capture, higher conversion rates, and nearly 30% more revenue than using coupons. Instead of losing revenue to coupons, CashBack shoppers pay full price and then redeem post-purchase for either cash or store credit. More than half of users never even redeem the CashBack, and around 20% of users choose future store credit over actual cash. It's super easy to A/B test, so you can see the uplift in performance and revenue that CashBack tends to bring.
