Now that e-commerce businesses are becoming more expensive to acquire customers, people are finding cool ways to drive LTV forward as much as possible. Rewards points are a great way to incentivize multiple purchases and
Example 1 is from Beam, one of my favorites. Super simple and less branded/designed than their usual emails, but solid language as always. The one thing you need to remember with a lot of these emails is that there is some work required for most people to get onboarded to a referral program. They need an incentive to actually get on in the first place, and that's what the initial points are for — just for signing up. Tell them exactly what they need to do so they feel like it won't be that much work, and then get them hooked on earning points.
Example 2 is from Aura Bora. Firstly, I love the design of this email. It looks amazing and it looks seamless. I love that they have tiers as well, because people are inherently competitive. It's the same reason every person over the age of 30 is addicted to candy crush. It's the never-ending chase of having MORE. The same can be true for your brand if you say the right things to your customers.
