Both YouTube and Microsoft Ads conversion metrics are all straight reds, most by more than one percentage point. Not all this performance is auction related: Meta experienced two ad delivery bugs in this reporting period, resulting in a tanked ROAS (-2.58%). The negative downturn mostly stayed within acceptable ranges, but we're still largely down through the month of June. Any disruptions on Meta typically curtail Google performance, as seen in the dropping conversion rate (-0.32%) and CAC (-0.47%). Google conversion metrics could have been much worse, relatively. We'll take what blessings we can get. One notable shift was a drastic increase in TikTok budget (+25.91%) in this timeframe. We suspect you all felt empowered to run more TikTok ads thanks to Savannah Sanchez's masterclass on the webinar last week. This unfortunately boosted CPMs by +6.21%. Still, TikTok conversion metrics experienced some of the lowest drops this period. Accessories and Apparel/Fashion continue their regression to the mean, likely thanks to the aggressive droughts, heat waves, and thunderstorms that racked the continental US last week. Daily Revenue and Daily New Customers across other industries remain mostly within normal <5% shifts. | | Marketing Tip: That email you just sent… Make it an article and add it to your website. Shorten it, and turn it into a Tweet. Add a picture and turn it into an IG post. Add a video in the background and turn it into a Tik Tok.
