Not every brand is founder-focused, but I've seen a lot of brands do really well when they have an accountable person standing at the forefront of it. Here are a couple of ways to leverage your founder (or yourself, if you're the founder) to build trust and make sales.
Example 1 is from Olipop. Their founder, Ben, was featured on TV to talk about the history of soda, which is actually super cool. I think that this adds a ton of credibility brand-side and product-side when you're thinking about who you trust to make the absolute best product for a hungry (or thirsty) audience. It's also an exciting thing to cross off of the bucket list. Congrats to Ben! And for you reading this, get on TV. It's still cool.
Example 2 is from Lunya. As you know, I've always been a fan of Lunya. I've been lucky enough to speak to their founder, Ashley, a few times. She is a genius. She's also someone that the Lunya audience seems to look up to, so it makes total sense to feature her in emails as an influencer-type. This is founder-awareness (which is a good thing) and social proof in some circular way. Awesome job here.
