When I was at the University of Maryland, I knew I wanted to make a fitness clothing brand, but couldn't think of a name. I wanted to avoid anything cliché or forced. I went about my day-to-day life until one afternoon when memories from a course about Veii came rushing back. Veii was a city located near the west coast of central Italy and held the distinction of being the wealthiest city in the Etruscan League. Its name sounded cool to me, and its rich history resonated with my vision.
