Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Campaign Idea - The Summer Wellness Email: - Email Examples:
- The Summer Wellness Email Example 1
- The Summer Wellness Email Example 2
- Purpose/Context of Email:
You don't realize how important your health is until you don't have it. Focusing on optimizing health/wellness/fitness in your emails is a good idea right now, and if you have a solution for me currently, I'd probably buy it (lol). Do it like this.
Example 1 is from Care/of. This email is very visual, and it's one of my favorite styles of design. I think this is one type of email that could probably get a little bit more love in the copy department. You definitely need to create the demand for products that are meant to optimize your health, because there's so much education around it. It's not like clothing where it's more show and less tell. But if you're already a fan of this brand, you'll likely get it right away. This probably crushed.
Example 2 is from Flo. This is what I meant by giving your email the "appropriate amount of copy". This is a classic example of a DTC direct response email. This is very problem/solution-focused and not branded, but that's okay. I think they walked the line pretty well, and they made it very clear WHY you need these products. They definitely built a strong case here, which is awesome. Good email here.

- With these three products... | | Vendor of the Week: Over the past few weeks, I've talked with friends who own DTC brands, and they all mentioned they fired their bookkeepers. They mention they're using a platform called Finaloop which leverages AI and automation to efficiently and quickly manage their books, all while saving around 60% of their bookkeeping costs. Finaloop also replaces your accounting software, inventory management software, and ecommerce integrations. All while providing you with your financial reporting in real-time. I was intrigued, so I hopped on a call with the Finaloop team to learn more about the platform for my clients. I've been super impressed by what the Finaloop team has built and was able to score a special deal for my clients (and now readers) of 2 months of free P&L. Check out Finaloop's free trial + special offer for you here. Additionally, I put together a marketing budget planning spreadsheet with their team that you can use for free here. | | New Podcast Episode: This week Cardinal Mason and I talked about: - SaaS price increases - Chase's LinkedIn Biz Brainstorm - DTC Brands We'd Start Today | | ChatGPT-4 Marketing Prompt: Generate [number] Instagram Reel ideas that showcase our client's brand personality and engage their target audience with short, entertaining content.
