One of the most powerful forms of social proof is using a high-profile influencer or celebrity to rep your product. It's one thing to have them post about you on social, but to include them in an email? That's a whole other level.
Example 1 is from Liquid Death.
Some of you may know Bert Kreischer, the comedian who's best friends with Joe Rogan. A partnership between him and Liquid Death makes so much sense and I'm so glad it happened. In terms of voice and style, these two align perfectly. LD is also offering other products outside of just the water that we're all used to, which makes it easier to bring people in and get them excited about the partnership with Bert. There's more in it for them than just PR. I love it.
Example 2 is from Princess Polly.
This email is based on Emma McDonald, a model who's popped off on TikTok lately. She's become one of the major influencers in this space and is a perfect representation of Princess Polly's brand. Campaigns like this can definitely offer great social proof and a ton of sales, but it's super important that you find the right fit. Make sure you get an influencer who is aligned with the brand mission and isn't just a vanity metric.
