Dear Reader, When President Trump walked out of a New York courtroom on Monday he was carrying a pile of papers.
All of them, it seems, were printouts of articles published by The New York Sun. He proceeded to read them out to the dozens of journalists that were present.
The articles focused in detail on significant mistakes uncovered by the Sun that the judge in the case had made. They also highlighted the dangerous precedent that the case itself sets for the constitutional rights of American citizens. |
The Sun's reporting is guided by our unrelenting commitment to the rule of law, due process, equality under our justice system and the Constitution of the United States.
As President Trump and many other of our country's political leaders realize, The New York Sun presents daily some of the sharpest insights and analysis available in American journalism. We routinely deliver unreported details on the most pressing issues faced by our country because we go where the facts take us.
As an informed and active citizen, we want you to have full access to the same, up-to-date reporting that President Trump and other prominent national figures have found to be so important, and we're able to do so at the starting price of just 1c per day. |

The New York Sun is leading the movement to save American journalism, and the events of this week highlight the Sun's real world impact on the future of our country.
We need you to participate in this great effort. Every citizen counts. American democracy is at stake. |
