I have a new course launching at the end of the month! Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources.  So without further ado, let's dive in: Email Campaign Idea - The Urgency Email: Email Examples: - The Urgency Email Example 1 - The Urgency Email Example 2   Purpose/Context of Email: Even though this is one of the most important aspects of marketing in general, we don't talk about urgency enough. The companies that don't give enough urgency are missing out on sales, and the ones that do it too much are burning their audience. These are some great ways to express it without burning your list. Example 1 is from Brooklinen. Notice how they provide the message of urgency, but the rest of the language in the email is pretty laid back and chill. This is a good way to go at it where your audience doesn't feel like they're being pressured, even though there is a deadline. Also, this is key: the "limited stock" urgency is much better than the "discount deadline" urgency, because everyone knows that you're CHOOSING to eliminate the discount at a certain point. But physical products will go out of stock, and there's no way around that. Good angle here. Example 2 is from Beam, another one of my favorite brands because of their creative team. Beam is using urgency on the offer here, but they did it in such a classy way. Another thing they tend to do that I really want to test is "testimonials from the team". I'm curious to know if people value reviews from people who work there more so than other customers. Something to think about. If anyone tries this, let me know.
