Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Pop Quiz Email: -
Purpose/Context of Email: So I stumbled upon these campaigns, and I thought these were so smart. Firstly, getting people to respond to your emails is always a good thing. It's good for your deliverability. Secondly, it's fun and it's good for brand-building/engagement. Most people aren't doing this. Example 1 is from Papaya Reusables, who actually makes reusable paper towels. I think those are just called towels, I'm not sure. Whatever they're selling, this email concept is great. They encourage people to respond, and they get to know more about their audience. This is a fun way to go about this. Example 2 is from Flo Vitamins. You can't tell, because I just grabbed a screenshot of this email, but there's rotating text above that underline. It flips between the benefits of the product and does a good job of educating you on the product. This is not really a pop quiz (even though it said "pop quiz" in the subject line). It's just an opportunity to tell you more about what their product does and how they help you. Brand education can be boring...but if you're Flo? It's enjoyable for everyone. Segment:

| | Copywriting Tip of the Week: Put the Benefits into Perspective Don't just say: "It saves you two hours a day." Instead, emphasize the bigger picture: "It saves you an entire workweek every month." How to Apply This: - Identify the Core Benefit: Understand the primary advantage your product/service offers.
- Quantify the Impact: Calculate the benefit over a longer period (e.g., weekly, monthly, yearly).
- Compare to Familiar Contexts: Relate the benefit to something your audience easily understands (e.g., time saved equals a vacation, money saved equals a new gadget).
- Test and Refine: Use A/B testing to see which perspective resonates more with your audience.
Why This Works: Putting benefits into perspective helps your audience grasp the full value of what you're offering, making your message more compelling and impactful. | | Customer Support Resource of the Week:
Here are 8 ways you can improve your Customer Support Channel. Many of my clients and friends are using Richpanel to power their Customer Support Channel. And everyone has been super happy with Richpanel's platform. So I've decided to partner with them to make sure you know about them. | | Convert Instagram Followers into Email & SMS Subscribers: If you're an ecom brand with a decent Instagram following, I have an insane hack you can do: Step 1: Run an Instagram giveaway where you give away your product or even a gift card to your store For people to enter the giveaway, make them comment something like: "I want this" Step 2: Automate DM's to every person who comments on the giveaway In the auto-DM you send, invite them to get additional entries to your giveaway by signing up for your email and SMS list Step 3: Announce the winner(s) of the giveaway in an Instagram post and offer a "runner-up" discount for everyone who didn't win (the majority of people) Setup an auto-DM that sends everyone a discount code for your store You can blow up your email list and drive revenue by leveraging this playbook. A company I invested in called Gatsby just rolled out this exact functionality. I'm planning on using this for my own account, and now that it's live, I'm going to roll it out for my clients ASAP! You can learn more here about their new comment triggers. | | I hope you enjoyed this edition. Hit reply and let me know! - Chase | | No longer want to receive these emails? Unsubscribe.
