Huntsville, Utah It was so hot, local firefighters blasted competitors with a water hose and heat lightning delayed the race, but couldn't hold back athlete Yara Alves, who claimed her 16th trifecta of the year. Red Deer, Canada Speaking of lightning, Red Deer saw lightning-fast speeds, especially at Saturday's women's Sprint with a first-place finish time under 24 minutes…even in the stifling heat! Changchun, China Many locals racing for the first time experienced stunning lakeside views and the first Sprint event of Changchun, where Xufuli and Wenchangxun took the female and male first place, respectively, in the competitive heat. Fort Carson, Colorado Whoever placed Mudderhorn on the top of a hill was cruel… but made up for it with epic views of Fort Carson, though no Tough Mudder Infinity competitor exceeded 40 miles on this rigorous course. Ft. Wayne, Indiana The midwest hosted the first-ever DEKA FIT Ultra, where athletes confronted the full DEKA FIT course five times, completing 50 zones and 25K of running, where all three men's elite podium winners — Dylan Scott, Mark Polzin, and Hayden Warner — finished in under three hours, and the women's elite first place winner, Brooklyn Nichols, finished sub-3:20. Most notably, 99.08% of competitors crossed the finish line and earned their DEKA FIT Ultra buckle.
