Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | Email Campaign Idea - The Collab Email: | | Purpose/Context of Email:
Spread your message far and wide. Utilize resources like influencers and other brands to give your brand some extra clout and recognition. Partnering with entities that have a little more clout than you will always help you. Influencer marketing doesn't have to be spending $100 to get featured on someone's story. Check this out. Example 1 is from Moana Bikini. They were able to scoop up an influencer in their niche named Alana Blanchard, who is a pro surfer. When you choose the right influencers, they can help you solidify your identity as a brand. When you think of Old Spice, you think of Terry Crews flexing his pecks on TV 10 years ago. You think of manly dudes who can probably fight or something. That's who YOU become when you use Old Spice. Moana is doing the same thing here, and attracting people who want swimwear that allows you to be active, but look good at the same time. Example 2 is from Huckberry. The first thing I thought of when I saw this email was, "holy hell, this is a long email". Only after did I realize, "oh, they did a partnership with Coors, my favorite beer." I'm not kidding, when I screenshotted this email, it broke up into multiple images. That has never happened before. I don't recommend this, you need to get to the point with email.Like I mentioned above, Huckberry is using Coors for clout and showing that they're a fun, partytime brand. Between you and me, I'm pretty sure it's fairly easy to get a Coors sponsorship. I know some other brands that are barely breaking 6 figures a month and somehow landed it. Try it out, it might just do wonders for your brand. Segment:
