Hi there,   Hope this message finds you well. It's been an interesting few weeks on my end, to say the least. I recently returned from a much-needed trip with some lifelong friends—a rare opportunity to truly disconnect and escape reality. I came back recharged and more ready than ever to dive into what's next for the brand.   As I've shared in past emails, perspective is everything. This trip offered time for meaningful, mindful conversations, and I'm energized to channel that renewed focus into pushing REBEL8 forward—drawing from our roots to navigate a bold future.   Our latest piece, the Zip Work Jacket, is inspired by classic workwear but reimagined with something original. We garment-dyed the entire jacket to give it that broken-in, well-worn look, like it's been a staple in your closet for years. The washed cord collar turned out incredible—I've honestly never seen a cord collar done quite like it.   I named it the Zip Work Jacket to highlight the high-quality YKK zippers throughout. The large, double-access lumbar pocket at the back takes cues from vintage hunting jackets—a concept I've been sitting on for years, merging hunting influences with workwear. Seeing it come to life is something I'm truly proud of.   I couldn't be happier with this cut-and-sew piece, and I hope you'll get a chance to experience it yourself. One of the biggest challenges of running a DTC brand is conveying the feel and quality through just photos and descriptions. We also embroidered the patch and sewed it on after washing the jacket to create a nice contrast that makes the design pop. Featuring exposed YKK zippers throughout, this jacket is built with quality in mind. For reference, I'm 6' and wear a Large in this jacket, which gives me plenty of room to layer comfortably—like with a REBEL8 hoodie for those chillier days. Honestly, since I've moved to LA, I've become kind of a bitch in weather below 70-degrees. One of the standout features of the Zip Work Jacket is the large lumbar double-access pocket at the back—it's not something most people expect to find on a jacket, and that's part of what makes it so functional.   Inspired by vintage hunting jackets, this pocket was originally designed for bird hunters who needed a discreet, convenient place to stash their catch without disrupting their movement.
