I'm switching my newsletter from Klaviyo to Omnisend. If you own, run, or work for an ecommerce brand, you should join me in switching to Omnisend too. | | Happy Monday! Today's Must Read Content Piece: My agency has written 10,000+ emails for clients, consistently beating industry benchmarks. After analyzing what works best, we've distilled our process into a simple, 8-step framework you can use to write emails that convert—every time. 1) Subject Line: Your subject line determines if your email gets opened. Actionable Tips: - Include a specific benefit or promise (e.g., Double Your Productivity in 7 Days)
- Add personalization variables (e.g., the recipient's name or product of interest)
- Keep it under 50 characters to ensure full visibility on mobile devices
- Test at least 2–3 variations (A/B testing) to identify what resonates

| | Let's have an honest conversation. I've been using Klaviyo since 2017. My email course and social posts starting in 2020 drove 100's and 100's of brands and agencies to start using Klaviyo. Those brands and agencies have referred 100's and 100's more to Klaviyo. At one point, I was their largest individual referrer. And according to our Klaviyo rep, our agency was their #1 agency for managed book of business on the platform. But a few years ago, I started to see a major shift at Klaviyo and I wasn't a fan of it so I started looking for other email platforms to work with. I had found that in Sendlane. I backed the biggest underdog in the space. I wanted a David vs. Goliath moment and we had our 15 seconds of fame. It was great. And I have no ill will towards Sendlane. But, it became obvious that Sendlane was a bit early on the horizon. So I went searching for another alternative. I started reconnecting with other platforms in the space that I had checked out over the years. One that caught me by surprise was Omnisend. I met their Co-Founder & CEO back in 2021 and he was really cool. I was only focused on Klaviyo at the time so I didn't end up exploring it further then. However, it's become obvious to me that Omnisend is Klaviyo's biggest competition. They're closest to them across every measurable aspect. And I really dig the team, their platform, and their outlook for the coming months and years. And their success speaks for itself. They have over 125,000 ecommerce brands using them. And they have a 4.8 out 5 star rating from 5,800 companies. They make it super easy to engage your list, drive repeat sales, and create seamless personalized experiences. This is why I'm switching my own newsletter and my clients over to them. And you should too! | | Marketing Tip of the Week: | | People buy feelings, not features. Here's how to evoke the right emotions: 1. Identify Emotional Outcomes: Pinpoint the feelings—confidence, pride, relief—that your product can provide. 2. Speak Their Language: Replace technical details with stories, examples, and words that resonate emotionally. 3. Show Real Transformations: Use testimonials and before-and-after scenarios to highlight meaningful change. 4. Create Immersive Experiences: Pair your messaging with imagery, videos, or interactive elements that stir emotions. 5. Test and Refine: Experiment with different emotional angles and measure which messages drive engagement. When you connect on an emotional level, customers move from interest to investment—faster and more deeply. | | Newsletter Transparency: Here are my newsletter stats from last week: - Recipients: 85,379
