| Hey, | I am obsessed with the New York Times. Everyday, I sit with the print edition, and take notes. For one simple reason. The stories they choose to cover, and the way in which they cover them, are the foundation of the Democrat party line. | If you read the Times carefully, with this in mind, it's easy to see that the media and the Democrats are still lost, woke, and generally unchanged. | For example, in an article about the Trump administration's efforts to end affirmative action, and DEI policies that voters largely rejected, the Times characterized DEI in the following way: | "A catchall term increasingly used to describe policies that benefit anyone who is not white and male." | Of course, anyone who has been paying attention knows that policies artificially boost a few specific demographics, at the expense of others, purely on the basis of race. White males in America, even those who are struggling, are punished in the world of DEI policies. In school admissions, demographics that succeed purely based on merit and effort are punished too, like Asians. | Affirmative action is clearly race-based discrimination. But these small, slick one-liners in random New York Times articles add up. They are a window into the world of the elite liberal class, and how they see the world. And further, these inserts only ingrain to their readers that what the Trump administration is doing—which is instilling a colorblind, merit-based system, is actually racist. | This is also how publications like the Times also bury valid facts and arguments they don't agree with. | This is what we're up against every single day at Upward News. | Here's the harsh reality: The New York Times has over a million paid subscribers who fund their narrative control. These are readers willing to pay to ensure their liberal worldview dominates the national conversation. Meanwhile, we're barely breaking even. | The Times isn't powerful just because of corporate backing—it's powerful because liberals financially support the media that promotes their agenda. They understand what conservatives often miss: whoever funds the media controls the narrative. | We need to be honest: we're struggling to keep going. | For the second month straight, our growth has completely stalled. While the Times continues to shape public opinion with their clever wordplay and selective reporting, we're fighting to survive. | | When you become a paid supporter today: | You help us expose media manipulation 7 days a week You fund our counter to the liberal media machine You directly support a team dedicated to honest reporting
| We need your support now. The only way to fight a million Times subscribers is with thousands of truth-seeking Upward supporters. | Please become a paid supporter today. | | We can't do this without you, | Ari, Brandon, Anthony, Maeve, and the entire Upward News team | |
