Thanks to everyone who replied to the last email and shared your favorite illustration from the REBEL8 Tattoo Tour. I already placed the order with our screenprinter. That shirt drops July 8th. We're aiming for our next release on June 8th, but there's some bullshit: a 145% tariff just hit the goods we have landing from China. That one came out of nowhere. Like I mentioned before, it's just not going to be possible to make stuff in China anymore. To be clear, most of what we make that isn't screenprinted on a tee has been made overseas. Since day one, I've always tried to make as much as possible here in the U.S. Back when we were figuring shit out without the Internet or social media. From 2003 to 2006, everything we made was Made in U.S.A. Not as a marketing play—I always believed an American brand should be made in America. Local factories. Local print shops. Over the years, I've made a bunch of attempts to bring production back. Most didn't work. Too expensive. Bad timing. Wrong partners. But I never stopped trying. And now, we're being forced to do what I've wanted to do all along. We're going back to Made in U.S.A. And we're locking in on what matters most: graphics. Feels like a return, but it also feels like a new chapter. Giant's drawing again. We've got clarity on direction. And we're doubling down on ourselves. This is REBEL8 getting back in its lane—the one we built. I'll break more of it down soon. But for now, just know that much. Thanks for your continued support. —Josh |
