Rewriting History.

This is unbelievable. Government overreach at its finest - please read.

I've written this email three times today and deleted it. I have no idea where I'm going with this but I just need to vent.
Yesterday, yes less than 24 hours ago. I sent an email out that featured all of the major news sites declaring that the United States had officially entered a recession. Historically the indicator, which has NEVER been any different, of a recession is two negative quarters in a row - which is what happened. It's a fact.
Today, if you search the word "recession" the first result is now from whitehouse.gov which features a NEW definition of recession, effectively rewriting history to fit the agenda of the government and to better control our outlook. As if different words on a computer screen will benefit the American citizen in any way, put money in our pockets and drive down this record-breaking inflation rate.
Are you ready for more? If you can feel your blood boiling now - just you wait. Here's how little power we actually have. After this change was made, Wikipedia followed suit and suspended the editing feature on the "recession" page.

This came after President Biden changed his position on the recession for the third time this week. We took screenshots yesterday thankfully, at least we have them for reference even though this is no longer "the truth"

So, what we've learned is that the government can change whatever they please to mold a message in their favor - we, however, have just had that freedom revoked. How many times will we sit back and let this kind of overreach be swept under the rug?

Dissent develops democracy.

In times like these, self-reliance is more important than ever before. Over the past few years, we've been dealt every card in the deck when it comes to exercising control techniques over this country. Those who have not taken the time to invest in themselves, ensuring that their families would be taken care of in the event of whatever may come next, will be out of luck.

But that's enough, I'm done bending your ear with my opinions on the state of this country. We've been talking about it all day here at the office and I just had to say something, I'm exhausted - truly. So if you made it this far I appreciate your time. What are your thoughts concerning all of this? This won't end any time soon so I'm sure it will be a daily topic here at HQ. Please reply to this email and share your thoughts, I'd love to get a gauge on what the consensus is.

Again, I appreciate you reading my furious thoughts I've somehow managed to make readable in this email. Starting today and through the weekend I'm turning shipping off on all contiguous U.S. orders. Use code FREE2DAY at checkout and we'll cover your shipping. Why? Because who knows what tomorrow might bring?
