- The Labor Day Sale Email Example 1 - The Labor Day Sale Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
Like I mentioned last week, you should be hammering your list for Labor Day. Take inspo from these brands to base your next 2-3 sends on. Example 1 is from Shop GLD. I mentioned last week that Mixtiles is one of the best direct response DTC brands that you can find, but I think GLD is a close second. Unlike something like Cernucci, they don't really have a brand. But it doesn't seem like they need one. They have tons of product images, they go hard on discounts, and they absolutely crush. Something to ponder on. Example 2 is from Barcode. Barcode is a dope brand that has some cool founders and some great products. They're able to use a ton of social proof in their emails because it's built into the company structure. This email has a super famous basketball trainer + a discount, which makes this an awesome email. -

- The EG Charity Email Example 1 - The EG Charity Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
People love feeling good, and one of the best ways to make them feel good is make it extremely easy to help someone else. If your brand has an option to donate to a good cause, make sure it's known with a campaign like this. Example 1 is from Bravo Sierra. Their founders served in the Military, and it's been a mission of theirs to serve as many vets and active service members as possible. Along with more hands-on stuff, they donate a % of sales to a number of different partners. Their branding, copy, and design makes this a sure thing. Do it like this. Example 2 is from Loeffler Randall. This one is REALLY cool. Love this email. Awesome design, and they absolutely nailed the messaging for this campaign. I'd love to see more brands do stuff like this with combining a sale + a charity endeavor. Awesome job here from this brand. - Segment(s):
