Hey Friend, It's been quite the week and I've got lots of cool and timely emails for you to send. Real quick though, if you're thinking through your marketing plans, I've got a resource for you. My clients and I have been using them to hire amazing freelance marketing talent. The best part is they do the heavy lifting for you. No job postings, no interviews, and no headache. All you need to do is describe your project, and they'll help you determine the ideal marketer and other important details around budget, timeline, etc. You can literally begin connecting with top freelance marketers in as little as 48 hours. From what I've seen, most people use them to find email, content, growth, paid search, and paid social marketers. I highly recommend chatting with them about your marketing needs. sponsored Let's jump in. Campaign Idea 1 - The Springtime Email: - Email Examples:
- The Springtime Email Example 1 - The Springtime Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
The weather is getting warmer and people's routines are starting to change because of it. We're gonna send emails that can promote our brand around the new season and make it relevant (as always). We can also get people hyped up and just bring the energy. You don't NEED to sell stuff. Check out what these brands are doing. Example 1 is from Frame, a women's fashion brand. Everyone knows that you need to cycle out new clothes for new seasons. If you also have a clothing brand, do it just like Frame does it, because they do it very well. If you don't have a clothing brand, you can still use the elements of excitement and newness to get people to buy more of your products. Bundle everything into collections throughout the email and label it for specific style types. You're golden. Example 2 is from Legends, an athletic wear company. Legends is a combination of fashion and lifestyle, and the Springtime email works really well for these two categories. People are becoming aware that they want to look good for the beach, and they only have a few months to get to work. The angle they chose here is going to motivate people to get into great shape, and to look good doing it in their athletic wear! Good email here, and super simple. -

- The St. Patrick's Day Email Example 1 - The St. Patrick's Day Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
St. Patrick's Day is coming up, and there are a million ways to spin it. Some people want to party, some just want to relax. You can do a sale, you can highlight things that'll make the holiday better, or you can be silly and tell stories about a leprechaun that just joined your social media marketing team. Get creative with this one. Example 1 is from Matcha Bar, one of my favorite brands! For this one, since their audience enjoys the odd drink or two, they provide you with St. Patrick's Day recipes for some unique concoctions. With tons of puns and little jokes, this one probably went over very well. All of their emails are extremely memorable, which is amazing for your branding. Example 2 is from Me Undies, who always has creative campaigns. This is just a straight promotional email for a St. Patrick's Day print, but the design was very cool. The "get lucky" angle will always be funny, and when paired with the slot machine gif, it's a great email. Keep it simple. - Segment(s):

- The Urgency Email Example 1 - The Urgency Email Example 2 - Purpose/Context of Email:
Even though this is one of the most important aspects of marketing in general, we don't talk about urgency enough. The companies that don't give enough urgency are missing out on sales, and the ones that do it too much are burning their audience. These are some great ways to express it without burning your list. Example 1 is from Brooklinen. Notice how they provide the message of urgency, but the rest of the language in the email is pretty laid back and chill. This is a good way to go at it where your audience doesn't feel like they're being pressured, even though there is a deadline. Also, this is key: the "limited stock" urgency is much better than the "discount deadline" urgency, because everyone knows that you're CHOOSING to eliminate the discount at a certain point. But physical products will go out of stock, and there's no way around that. Good angle here. Example 2 is from Beam, another one of my favorite brands because of their creative team. Beam is using urgency on the offer here, but they did it in such a classy way. Another thing they tend to do that I really want to test is "testimonials from the team". I'm curious to know if people value reviews from people who work there more so than other customers. Something to think about. If anyone tries this, let me know. - Segment(s):
