| Hey Friend, It's a beautiful day and I'm as excited to write this email as I am for you to read it. Below are 3 timely email campaign ideas you can begin sending ASAP. Before we dive in, I wanted to tell you about Gorgias, my #1 recommended CX platform. It's what brands like OLIPOP, BrüMate, CROSSNET, & a ton of others use to power their CX operation. One of favorite brands, The Oodie, credits Gorgias with enabling their team to reply to 50,000+ customer emails every month. Before Gorgias, this was impossible. I'm a big Gorgias fan & personally believe it's an absolute must-have for any Shopify business. Let's jump in. Campaign Idea 1 - The Pop Quiz Email: - Email Examples:
- The Pop Quiz Email Example 1
- The Pop Quiz Email Example 2
- Purpose/Context of Email:
So I stumbled upon these campaigns last week, and I thought these were so smart. Firstly, getting people to respond to your emails is always a good thing. It's good for your deliverability. Secondly, it's fun and it's good for brand-building/engagement. Most people aren't doing this.
Example 1 is from Papaya Reusables, who actually makes reusable paper towels. I think those are just called towels, I'm not sure. Whatever they're selling, this email concept is great. They encourage people to respond, and they get to know more about their audience. This is a fun way to go about this. Example 2 is from Flo Vitamins. You can't tell, because I just grabbed a screenshot of this email, but there's rotating text above that underline. It flips between the benefits of the product and does a good job of educating you on the product. This is not really a pop quiz (even though it said "pop quiz" in the subject line). It's just an opportunity to tell you more about what their product does and how they help you. Brand education can be boring...but if you're Flo? It's enjoyable for everyone. - Segment(s):
- Your Engaged Subscriber Segment - Subject Line Idea:
- Ready for your pop quiz?
- Do you know the answer to these questions?
- Pop quiz alert... - Preview Text Idea:
- No studying necessary.
- We'll give you 20% off if you do...
- Uh oh...are you ready?

- The Perfect Pairs Email Example 1
- The Perfect Pairs Email Example 2
- Purpose/Context of Email:
This campaign is all about positioning two of your products as complementary to one another. This will boost AOV without having to do a discount or anything overly salesy. Try positioning like this and you'll do numbers with these campaigns. Example 1 is from Hydrant, one of my favorite DTC brands. We have a catchy header with a double entendre, and then some great copy that tells you why you need these two products from Hydrant to optimize your overall health. We have benefit bullets for each one, and then position it as double the value and benefits in one pairing.
Example 2 is from OUAI, and I love this one. Some super relatable copy in this one. They go with the self-care/treat yourself angle which almost ALWAYS works when we do it. People love spoiling themselves (like I always say). One thing they did well is that they created a landing page for the bundle, likely just for this email. It's one small bit of effort that increases your conversion rate significantly. Great email here.

- The Spring Lookbook Email Example 1
- The Spring Lookbook Email Example 2
- Purpose/Context of Email:
There are thousands of variations of spring-related emails that we've seen, but these are always high-performers. Apparel companies have been doing lookbooks for decades, so they must be working. Including them in an email that leads to a direct conversion is obviously even better. Check these out. Example 1 is from Revolve. There's nothing super complicated about this email, but I'm sure it crushed regardless. You can't tell from this screenshot, but each of these images near the header are clickable. It makes it super easy to see something you like and get it sent directly to you. If you could do this with a magazine in the 90s, you'd be printing money from the sky. They give you the option to shop individually or shop by style, which is awesome. We can learn a lot from legacy fashion brands. Try this with whatever brand you're working on now. Example 2 is from Frame. This email is a bit more modern-looking and done more like a traditional email instead of a magazine. The thing they do well here is they have catchy one-liners and get the audience hyped for each category. This is another great way to showcase styles and get people excited about dressing for the new season.

Last but not least, a big part of my agency's success has come from hiring offshore talent. It's allowed us to scale our output while maintaining profitability. We've become higher touch with clients while keeping our overhead in check. This is the best place to source top-tier, pre-vetted offshore talent. sponsored
