My dumb comment from a couple weeks ago and a sale!

If there's one area I KNOW I'm winning at as a father, it's teaching my sons self-reliance.

I know they're too young to fully understand it yet, so all I can do is hope I'm sending them down the right path.

I'll admit I scared my kids a couple weeks ago.

They asked why we have stacks of white buckets in the basement and I told them it was emergency food for when things got really bad. They said their friends didn't have those and I casually said "and they'll be in trouble soon" not realizing my comment would stick with them for days.

(Side note - I hope those parents are reading this email along with you, and if they are, they're clicking this link to finally get their family some emergency food while it's on sale already!)

Millions of questions and a call from "little Johnny's" parents later, they now realize that those white buckets are their food freedom. I told them no matter how bad things get, they will never need to worry about their next meal.

I also told them someday, it will be their job to make sure their families are prepared with emergency food, and it's one of the most important things you can do for them.

Now they're interested and excited to learn more. They want to learn how to make their own fire and shelter, and how to use everything in a first-aid kit.  They think it's a fun game, but in my head, I know I'm teaching them valuable skills for the future.

I love being a father and I love my kids. I truly want every family in America to have the same peace of mind I do with our high-quality emergency food. No matter what craziness you see on the news (looks like it will be a long summer), you will have food freedom like I do right now.

Even products we don't normally put on sale.

I believe we are the best option in emergency food for a lot of reasons, but mostly because we put quality first.

God Bless all the Fathers out there,

Paul
