Blue Mountain, Pennsylvania Blue Mountain is a sleeper mountain…Spartans don't realize they're competing in one of the toughest events in North America until they are climbing up a steep black diamond trail with a heavy sandbag in their hands, only to trek back down across glacial rocks to the finish line. Manchester, England When it rains before a Tough Mudder, you know it's going to get messy, which is exactly what happened at Heaton Park, where water obstacles like Hydrophobia, Arctic Enema, and Electric Eel ruled the course. Brandenburg, Germany Not far from Berlin, Mudders waded through undulating sandy tracks, muddy pits, and marshy ground in a varied course while also confronting Europe's longest Kiss of Mud.
