WEEKEND RECAP
Seattle, Washington
There wasn't any horsing around at the Meadowood Equestrian Center, where Spartans conquered a Trifecta weekend.
Birmingham, England
At the first official DEKA FIT Roadshow in the U.K., triathlete Calum Upton won the Men's Elite category at his first-ever DEKA. The Women's Elite category came down to the wire, but Rachel Ackers overtook Victoria Benz with just seconds to spare.
Washington, D.C.
Medal of honor recipient Ed Byers made a guest appearance in D.C. this weekend, attending the awards ceremony where the weekends' winners received their honorable medals.
Cologne, Germany
Cologne was oozing with mud this weekend. Cold weather on a course flooded with water obstacles like Arctic Enema and Hydrophobia resulted in some cold keisters.
Melbourne, Australia
DEKA FIT broke ground Down Under this weekend, and the Aussie athletes didn't disappoint. Chris Woolley placed first in the Men's Elite category, with a time of just 31:11, while Jess Short topped the Women's Elite with a time of 35:55.
Niigata, Japan
Spartans kicked off the toughest course in Japan with a 2.5K hill climb and pushed through the full 21K Beast course to victory.
Killington, Vermont
The sun shone on our Spartans at Killington this weekend, as racers enjoyed clear weather and stunning views on one of our hardest Beast courses yet.
