I was diagnosed with vitiligo when I was 13. I was constantly made fun of and always asked what was wrong with my skin. I would always wear long sleeves and jeans and never really felt comfortable in my own skin.
Once I got started getting tattooed, it was so nice to actually have people come up to me and complement my skin instead of asking about what was wrong with it.
