| | Happy Thursday! Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in: | | | | | | Campaign Idea - The Go Swimming Email: - Email Examples:
- The Go Swimming Email Example 1
- The Go Swimming Email Example 2
- Purpose/Context of Email:
This email is called Go Swimming, because you need to go swimming. Right now. Stop reading this newsletter and go outside. Your customers want to go swimming too, but they just need to be reminded & they need to have the right attire. Hook them up. Example 1 is from Princess Polly. This email just screams beach day. Everything from the copy to the color palette to the imagery. It's perfect. It doesn't have to be complicated, either. Just focus on showing off what they need to wear and how they need to feel when they leave work early on a Friday to go hit the waves. Example 2 is from Cuup. I was super excited to show this off, because they did something genius here. You'll realize that there's a selector/drop-down menu in the email. When I first saw that, I was like "oh, developers can do that now?" And then I realized it took me right to the site. I think that's such a genius way to get clicks up. I got tricked, but I'm stealing that for SURE. Love it.

The brand Topicals saw a 78% increase in sales by using Gorgias chat automation to proactively educate customers before they make a purchase. - 69% of customer queries are automated through Quick service flows (onsite chat guides) and Macros (CS email templates).
- Reduce returns before they happen.
Issue:
They noticed that too many of their customers returned products after choosing the wrong item or using products incorrectly. To help shoppers find, purchase, and enjoy the best products for them, Topicals needed to proactively educate customers pre-sales. Solution: Topicals turned to Gorgias chat automation to provide customers with the guidance they need before they buy. Using Quick Response Flows and Macros to answer FAQs and educate customers, Gorgias automation now deflects 69% of tickets, enabling Topicals to be more proactive, respond faster, and convert more tickets to sales. Benefits: With Gorgias automation and self-service chat, Topicals can now educate their customers pre-sale at scale. Quick Response Flows answer common pre-sales questions in chat, freeing up human agents for more complex conversations. Macros provide more personalized conversations, and with 69% of tickets dealt with by automation, Topicals' customer service agents have more time to deal with pre-sales conversations and returns requests. | | | | | | New Podcast Episode: My friend Mason and I launched a new podcast called The Dimond Download.
