Hi there,
While we think our Touchless Truck Wash Soap is the best touchless wash soap on the market, not everyone agrees with us.
Some of our customers have had a bad experience with it. And we're going to share three such experiences and our advice.
First, we have Reece.
It is important to remember, 2-step soaps are designed to remove 90% of grime from a vehicle.
In situations where your vehicle has a wax coating (either hand wax or our Wax Replacement), you can expect your ride to come out closer to 100% clean if the soaps are used as directed. Or if you're the type of person to wash your vehicle multiple times per week, you can expect results closer to a perfect wash.
If your vehicle doesn't have any protective coating and you're waiting over a week to wash, expect to need a brush every now and again.
As we always say, 2-step soaps don't replace brush/mitt washing all together. They're meant to be used in between your normal washes to help save time.
Second, is Noah.
The only streaks that could possibly be left after a wash with this product would be dried soap residue. This is commonly caused by not rinsing thoroughly OR washing in hot/direct sunlight where the soap dries before you can rinse it properly. You can avoid this by washing in smaller sections, avoiding direct sun, being sure to rinse thoroughly, and cool the surface by pre-rinsing before you apply the soap.
Touchless is the ideal way to wash ceramic coated vehicles, since this helps avoid the possibility of damaging your ceramic coating with dirt stuck in your wash mitt/brush. The less friction your coating has to endure, the longer it will last.
We apologize if this counts as a useless marketing gimmick. But once you opt out of emails, you shouldn't receive them from us unless you signed back up on accident while placing another order. Either way, the unsubscribe button is at the bottom of every email.
Third and last, is Courtney.
This one is pretty common, since a lot of people wash their vehicle with hard water (aka water with minerals in it).
Water spots & stains do not come from the soap you're using, whether it's ours or a competitor's. Water spots come from the minerals in your water left behind when the water evaporates.
You can avoid water spots & stains by thoroughly drying your vehicle after washing. Alternatively, you could do a final rinse with deionized water or reverse osmosis water to leave a spot free finish.
And that's it! We hope this advice has helped.
Like always, if you have any questions, please just reply to this email or give us a ring at 616-777-7175 during business hours.
Happy washing,
The Team @ Image Wash Products
